My name is Vincent, Vinny for short. I’m a writer, traveler, and multimedia creator who craves adventure and experiences that enrich one’s soul.

Whether scribbling in a journal while backpacking in the Sierras, reflecting from a teahouse in the mountains of Taiwan, or writing an essay after a run at home in New York City, my work is rooted in the profound connection between our inner and outer worlds.

This perspective has translated into over 700 published essays on travel, mindfulness, culture and human connection, as well as two nonfiction travel memoirs.

I’m back living in the U.S. after two and a half years living in Japan, where I taught English by day and built a creative body of work by night, including the launch of Citoyens du Monde, a self-published magazine on global culture.
